About Spora
WHO ARE WE?
We are a team of two Certified Practising Speech Pathologists, who met while completing our studies at The University of Queensland.
We are passionate about giving back to our community and supporting individuals and families from all walks of life. You might also meet our cheerful pup, who occasionally pops in as a therapy assistant.
WHAT DOES SPORA MEAN?
The name SPORA comes from spore—a small, resilient seed full of potential.
To us, it represents growth, purpose, and meaningful change. We believe that even the smallest seeds, when nurtured with care, can grow into something lasting and fruitful. That’s the kind of growth we aim to support in every individual we work with.
OUR MISSION
To make therapy accessible, approachable, and inclusive.
As clinicians who come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, we understand the hesitation or barriers some individuals and families may face when seeking support. We’re committed to changing that—by creating a space where therapy feels safe, welcoming, and culturally sensitive.
No matter your age, background, or goals, we’re here to walk the journey with you.
WHAT EXPERIENCE DO WE HAVE?
